Tamworth
The Tamworth, the ginger pig, is the only native breed of pig
that is red. It experienced the least influence from inputs of Asian pigs used
in the 18th century to improve native types; retaining its longer
snout and erect ears of earlier British Pigs.

Brown, or Moorit, in colour and one of the taller primitive breeds of native
sheep, and is slow to mature finishing only on grass.
The meat is
very lean with a fine texture and is low in cholesterol. The flavour is more
gamey than people will have experienced in commercial breed lambs.
